On day 1 we travel from USA to London. Days 2 & 3 are for historical York—four medieval gates lead in through walls built on ancient Roman foundations.
Days 4 & 5 we head to James Herriot country—Yorkshire Dales and North Yorkshire Moors. Enjoy the stone walls set in picturesque landscapes. Days 6, 7, & 8 we travel through Scotland, from Edinburgh to the Highlands and then to the town of Pitlochry for three nights. Enjoy the smallest distillery in the world along with a woolen mill and a Scottish castle.
Next, days 9 & 10, we cross the border into Gretna Green, famous for weddings of elopers. The scenery of Lake District is breathtaking, with lakes and magnificent mountains. Then it’s on to Cotswolds for days 11 & 12, with Warwick Castle and Stratford upon Avon. See Thatched Roof cottages and beautiful gardens.
Days 13 & 14 are for London, including Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and many others. Then we head for home.
